ANA-New York is now accepting nominations for the Future Nurse Leader Award, recognizing outstanding graduating seniors from undergraduate nursing programs across New York State.

This award honors nursing students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, create positive learning environments, mentor their peers, actively engage in school and community activities, and embody the ethics and values of the nursing profession.

Each undergraduate nursing program may nominate one student per graduating class. Nominations must be submitted by a full-time faculty or staff member who is a current ANA-New York member. The nomination must include a statement describing how the student meets the award criteria, along with the student’s updated CV.

The selected student will be recognized at their graduation or award ceremony by an ANA-New York representative.

Nominations must be submitted by March 27, 2026.
