The ANAI program is a member benefit designed to grow nurses’ political competence, enhance advocacy skills, and build exposure to coalitions, political action committees, and other aspects of the legislative process. By the end of the program, cohort members will have gained the necessary skills to be effective state leaders.

What makes ANAI unique is that the program encompasses a full year, during which time it is expected that each individual participant will work on a specific project or series of activities with an assigned mentor in the state with guidance from the national American Nurses Association.
