We’re excited to launch the ANA-NY Member Points Program, a new way to recognize and reward members for staying active, connected, and committed to nursing excellence.
Each time you engage with ANA-NY—whether you’re attending an event, serving on a committee, or submitting to our publications—you earn points. At the end of the year, the member with the most points wins a special prize!
Here’s how you can earn points:
Create a profile in the app directory – 2 points
Participate in a committee – 2 points
Belong to the Board of Directors – 6 points
Attend an event or the Annual Conference – 1 point each
Join a Special Interest Group (SIG) – 2 points
Run for a position – 5 points
Serve as a committee chair – 4 points
Submit content to the ANA-NY magazine – 4 points
Nominate a colleague for an ANA-NY award – 4 points
Present the FNL award – 4 points
Vote in ANA-NY elections – 3 points
Submit an abstract for the conference – 3 points
Become a Peer Reviewer for JANANY – 6 points
Submit a manuscript to JANANY – 5 points
How it works:
- Points are calculated at the end of each month
- Your total is updated in your member profile in the ANA-NY app at the beginning of the following month
- The member with the highest point total at the end of the year wins!
