20 October 2025

Decoding the Code of Ethics for Nurses

You can earn up to 9 CNE credits while learning the Code of Ethics for Nurses. Decoding the Code is an online learning series designed to deepen your knowledge of the Code and help you use its provisions in your everyday nursing practice. Earlier this year, ANA launched the first six modules of the program and the next three courses in the Decoding the Code learning series have now launched. These courses are packaged together into an easy-to-access Nurse-to-Society bundle at a discounted price.

Learn more about the new Decoding the Code courses:

  • Provision 7: Discover how nurses shape the future of healthcare through knowledge, standards, and policy that address today’s most pressing challenges.
  • Provision 8: Learn how to build powerful collaborations across disciplines and communities to drive greater impact.
  • Provision 9: See how policies and legislation can be tools to advance social justice, eliminate inequities, and support human flourishing.
  • Nurse-to-Society Bundle: A discounted package of Provisions 7-9 to help you uphold the highest ethical standards, strengthen patient trust, and expand your professional influence.

This bundle is free for ANA Premier members (please be sure to log in to have the savings applied) $50 for members, $69 for non-members, and individual courses are from $20 for members and $29 for non-members, respectively.

*American Nurses Association is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
