Volunteers Needed for a Research Study — Compassion Fatigue in Nurses Related to COVID-19

Volunteers Needed for a Research Study – Tell me your experiences! Hello! My name is Philip Nelan, and I am currently a doctoral student at Walden University.

I am conducting a research study about nurses’ experiences of coping with the long-term effects of compassion fatigue in caring for patients during the pandemic of COVID-19. 

You are invited to participate in this study if: 

  • You are over the age of 18 years of age, 
  • You are a registered professional nurse, 
  • You do not know the researcher, either personally or professionally, 
  • Cared for Covid -19 patients between January 2020 and March 2021. 

Participation Details:

As a participant, you will be invited to participate in one Zoom, which will take between 30 to 60 minutes of your time, with audio recording only.  Your identity and information will be confidential, and you will be identified by a participant number only. The estimated number of total participants is between 10 and 15 individuals. Interviews will be conducted in April, May, and June 2023.

A $20.00 Amazon e-gift card will be offered to the first 15 participants.
